Host Organization: American Indian Center
A 3-day cultural event that articulates living Native cultures and inter-generational art practices via intertribal powwow songs and dances augmented with contemporary music performances. This event is the largest form of American Indian artistic and cultural exchange in the State of Illinois, providing a platform for self-representation through traditional Native art forms (visual and performing) which has become an indispensable and defining cultural endeavor in Native Chicago.
