The definition of wellness according to Oxford dictionary is “The state of being in good health, especially as an actively pursued goal.” I believe that the definition of wellness has changed throughout the years. I believed wellness used to be about being physically fit, but now it has evolved to much more. Wellness can be defined as taking care of your physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional health. I believe everyone should take the time to take care of themselves, especially with how the world is today. If you’re looking for some ways to relax and tap into yourself, we have some events for you to check out!

KAP Yoga– Kappa Alpha Psi originated in Bloomington, Indiana where racism and discrimination was at a high, plus a hotbed for the Ku Klux Klan. The fraternity was created, because the black students on campus couldn’t have any involvement on campus so they created their own. We’ve partnered up with Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc of Valparaiso, Indiana for a day of zen on March 7th at 1:30 PM. It’s a virtual yoga session with YogaCharyas from India. This event will focus on yoga, breathing exercises, and meditation which can help with all aspects of oneself.
