Wellness 2021

The definition of wellness according to Oxford dictionary is “The state of being in good health, especially as an actively pursued goal.” I believe that the definition of wellness has changed throughout the years. I believed wellness used to be about being physically fit, but now it has evolved to much more. Wellness can be defined as taking care of your physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional health. I believe everyone should take the time to take care of themselves, especially with how the world is today. If you’re looking for some ways to relax and tap into yourself, we have some events for you to check out!

Ayurveda– Originated in India almost 5,000 years ago, ayurveda is one of the oldest healing practices. It stems from the Vedic culture and taught to many throughout the years from generation to generation. We’re hosting an online seminar on the science of Life and the way of enhancing your life on February 21, 2021 at 9 AM. Conducted by World renowned Ayurveda and Panchakarma Doctors. Plus having the opportunity to have a private consultation with the doctor as well.

Hair Oil- Dr. Hair Oil aka Sharon started making her own natural products around the 1990s when she was having her own hair problems. She was able to figure what natural products work well with her hair and to make it grow back. She now runs an online business making natural hair products, plus more. We’re hosting an event on February 27th at 10:30 AM with Dr. Hair Oil. You’ll make your own hair serum which is filled with natural ingredients, usable for all hair types, and hair growth. Each box you’ll get all the materials that are needed to help you make your kit.

KAP Yoga– Kappa Alpha Psi originated in Bloomington, Indiana where racism and discrimination was at a high, plus a hotbed for the Ku Klux Klan. The fraternity was created, because the black students on campus couldn’t have any involvement on campus so they created their own. We’ve partnered up with Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc of Valparaiso, Indiana for a day of zen on March 7th at 1:30 PM. It’s a virtual yoga session with YogaCharyas from India. This event will focus on yoga, breathing exercises, and meditation which can help with all aspects of oneself.
